FKIP ULM Leadership Team on the 4th Day of PKKMB
Banjarmasin, August 11–16, 2025 – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) welcomed 1,646 new students through the Campus Life Introduction for New Students (PKKMB) program. Over six days, the activities were held at various locations, including ULM Banjarbaru Auditorium, General Building Lecture Theatre, Multipurpose Hall, and FKIP ULM campuses in Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru.
PKKMB consisted of three sessions: university introduction (days 1–3), faculty introduction (day 4), and department introduction (days 5–6). The event was inaugurated by ULM Rector, Ahmad, followed by the faculty introduction by FKIP Dean, Sunarno Basuki.
In his remarks, the Dean expressed pride in the trust new students placed in choosing FKIP ULM, while Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman, as the person in charge, appreciated the committee’s efforts in successfully managing thousands of participants.
As a key part of the event, the FKIP ULM ICT Team supported the smooth running of technical aspects, including preparation of presentation systems, sound management, documentation, and digital publication. The presence of the ICT team ensured that information was effectively delivered to all new students and that the activities were properly documented.
PKKMB served as an initial step for new students to familiarize themselves with academic life, student organizations, and the values upheld at FKIP ULM. Welcome to the FKIP ULM family, and best wishes for a successful academic journey.
