The event was divided into three main sessions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>University Orientation Session<\/strong> (August 13\u201314), held at the <strong>ULM Auditorium Banjarbaru<\/strong>, <strong>General Building (GB) ULM<\/strong>, and <strong>Student Activity Centre (SAC) Banjarmasin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Faculty Orientation Session<\/strong> (August 15), conducted at <strong>GB, SAC, Hasan Bondan Hall<\/strong>, and several other halls within FKIP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Study Program Orientation Session<\/strong> (August 16), which took place in various classrooms at <strong>FKIP ULM Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>ICT Team\u2019s Role<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the unit responsible for information technology support, the <strong>ICT Team of FKIP ULM<\/strong> ensured that all activities ran smoothly from a technical perspective. Their support included providing multimedia equipment in all event rooms, managing the <strong>Simari system<\/strong>\u2014the core of academic administration\u2014and maintaining internet connectivity for committees, speakers, and new students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the first session, the ICT Team supported the smooth running of the new student inauguration ceremony and the delivery of essential materials such as <em>The Higher Education System in Indonesia: Universities in the Era of Industrial Revolution 5.0<\/em>, <em>Local Wisdom \u201cWaja Sampai ka Puting\u201d<\/em>, and <em>Introduction to Student Services<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the second session, ICT ensured that digital materials and service information were easily accessible to students. The team also assisted in the socialization of the <strong>Academic Management Information System (Simari)<\/strong>, <strong>Diploma Supplement (SKPI)<\/strong>, and <strong>Student Activity Credit System (SKKM)<\/strong>, enabling new students to understand the platforms they will use throughout their studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the third session at the study program level, the ICT Team facilitated the technical use of <strong>Simari<\/strong> and supported the introduction of curricula and student organizations in each program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Commitment of FKIP ICT<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dean of FKIP ULM, <strong>Sunarno Basuki<\/strong>, emphasized the importance of technology support in modern education. This aligns with FKIP\u2019s commitment to serve not only undergraduate students but also <strong>2,115 students in the In-Service Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG Dalam Jabatan)<\/strong> and <strong>468 students in the Pre-Service PPG Program (PPG Prajabatan)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou are studying at the right place,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, <strong>Head of the Geography Education Study Program, Karunia Puji Astuti<\/strong>, stated that FKIP continues to develop its infrastructure, including the revitalization of laboratories that will be equipped with new tools either this year or next year.
