Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM)<\/strong> organized a Public Relations Training<\/strong> for department administrators and student associations (Hima<\/strong>) under the theme \u201cOptimizing the Role and Function of Departmental Information Publication to External Audiences.\u201d<\/em> The event took place in the FKIP ULM Meeting Room<\/strong> and was officially opened by Dean of FKIP, Sunarno Basuki<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training involved members of the Public Relations and Partnership Management Unit (UPKH)<\/strong>, the Head of the ICT Unit<\/strong>, department secretaries, department operators, and Hima publication officers. The event was divided into two main sessions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Training on Writing Department Activity News<\/strong> \u2013 delivered by Dewi Alfianti<\/strong>, Secretary of the Public Relations Division.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Synchronization of Department and Faculty Information<\/strong> \u2013 presented by Nuruddin Wiranda<\/strong>, Head of the ICT Unit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Participants were introduced to the straight news<\/em> writing model based on the 5W+1H<\/strong> principle, as well as the use of Pantau<\/strong>, a shared digital platform for storing and sharing publication materials between departments and the faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    From the perspective of the FKIP ULM ICT Team<\/strong>, this activity is essential in building synergy for digital information management so that each department can deliver news in a consistent, integrated, and publicly accessible manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    One participant, Umar<\/strong>, stated that the training broadened his understanding of the role of public relations in shaping a positive institutional image. He expressed hope that similar programs would continue regularly, addressing topics that keep pace with technological advancements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
