wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Banjarmasin \u2013<\/strong> In support of openness and international collaboration in the fields of education and research, the <strong>Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP)<\/strong> of <strong>Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM)<\/strong> officially signed a <strong>Tripartite Cooperation Agreement (MoU)<\/strong> with the <strong>Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA)<\/strong> of <strong>Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes)<\/strong> and <strong>Sogang University<\/strong>, South Korea, on <strong>Wednesday, August 13, 2025<\/strong>, held at <strong>Hasan Bondan Hall<\/strong> starting at <strong>08.30 WITA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the ongoing digital transformation and the development of cross-institutional academic information systems, the <strong>ICT Team of FKIP ULM<\/strong> viewed this event as a strategic opportunity to strengthen the role of information technology in the implementation of the collaborative programs \u2014 including research cooperation, academic information exchange, and online or hybrid faculty and student exchange programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The signing ceremony was attended and officiated by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Dean of FKIP ULM<\/strong>, <em>Sunarno Basuki<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Dean of FMIPA Unnes<\/strong>, <em>Edy Cahyono<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Representative of Sogang University<\/strong>, <em>Won Koo Lee<\/em> (represented by <em>Edy Cahyono<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Antasari<\/strong>, <em>Hamdan<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Dean of Uniska<\/strong>, <em>Hengki<\/em> \u2014 as part of the strategic affiliation supporting the implementation of the inter-institutional collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Also in attendance were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Vice Dean I of FKIP ULM<\/strong>, <em>Deasy Arisanty<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Head of the Chemistry Education Department<\/strong>, <em>Rusmansyah<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Head of UPKH FKIP ULM<\/strong>, <em>Emma Rosana Febriyanti<\/em>, and team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The <strong>FMIPA Unnes collaboration team<\/strong> and lecturers from the <strong>Chemistry Education Department<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>ICT Team of FKIP ULM<\/strong> prepared digital infrastructure and platforms to support the upcoming collaborative programs, such as the management of partnership data, the provision of cross-campus digital collaboration spaces, and the optimization of technology-based communication media that enable international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki<\/strong>, stated that this partnership marks a progressive step forward in strengthening institutional capabilities to meet global challenges in education and research. The main focus of this collaboration is to strengthen <strong>STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)<\/strong> learning that is collaborative, cross-country, and sustainable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In this context, the <strong>ICT Team of FKIP ULM<\/strong> recognizes its crucial role in supporting the digitalization of LUPIC program implementation, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Providing technological facilities for seminars, laboratory practices, and training activities,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Developing cross-institutional digital collaboration platforms,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Managing data-driven and multimedia-based documentation, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Utilizing <strong>Internet of Things (IoT)<\/strong> technology in STEM experiments and learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">As an institution entrusted to be part of LUPIC, <strong>FKIP ULM<\/strong> is expected to contribute by providing facilities, participants, and implementation sites involving students, lecturers, and partner schools. The <strong>ICT Team of FKIP ULM<\/strong> played a vital role in supporting the activities through technological assistance and digital documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The implementation included an <strong>international seminar<\/strong> themed <em>\u201cRedesigning Chemical Synthesis Pathways for Environmental Sustainability\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201cIoT in Chemistry Learning.\u201d<\/em> The seminar was attended by lecturers, teachers, and students from <strong>ULM<\/strong>, <strong>UIN Antasari<\/strong>, and <strong>Uniska<\/strong>. During the event, the ICT FKIP ULM team provided technical support for presentation devices, connectivity, and digital documentation to ensure the sessions ran smoothly and that materials could be accessed widely after the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In the afternoon session, the activities continued with <strong>STEM-based learning practices<\/strong> such as <em>Project-Based Learning (PjBL) eco print<\/em> and <em>Microscale Chemistry Practicum<\/em>, conducted in the Chemistry Laboratory of FKIP ULM. This learning approach was designed to integrate <strong>local wisdom<\/strong>\u2014such as the use of local plants in chemistry experiments\u2014with technological approaches while promoting <strong>environmentally friendly chemical practices<\/strong> through the use of micro-scale tools and materials to reduce laboratory waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">From the ICT perspective, this approach demonstrates the potential for deeper integration between <strong>IoT, STEM, and educational technology<\/strong>. The ICT FKIP ULM team plans to further explore the use of <strong>digital platforms and data loggers<\/strong> to support micro-scale experiments and project-based learning in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Head of the Chemistry Education Department, Rusmansyah<\/strong>, stated that in support of these activities, the department also received <strong>equipment grants<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>1 unit of 3D printer<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>8 sets of STEM Chemistry Kits<\/strong>, consisting of test tubes, Y-pipes, droppers, 10 mL beakers, 10 mL Erlenmeyer flasks, glass funnels, 5 mL dilution flasks, watch glasses, 5 mL measuring cylinders, 1 mL volumetric pipettes, test tube racks, vials, and test tube clamps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>ICT Team of FKIP ULM<\/strong> views this activity as a concrete example of <strong>cross-institutional and interdisciplinary synergy<\/strong>, where technology and education complement each other to create more <strong>innovative, collaborative, and sustainable learning<\/strong>.
