Banjarmasin \u2014 In an effort to strengthen governance and enrich the implementation strategy of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, the MBKM Unit of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University (FKIP ULM), conducted benchmarking visits to two renowned universities in Indonesia: Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) and Universitas Negeri Malang (UM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation was led by Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty, accompanied by the Head of the MBKM Unit, Raisa Fadilla, and the MBKM secretariat team: Hendro Yulius Suryo Putro, Arum Murdianingsih, and Rizky Febriyani Puteri. The visit lasted for two days, starting in Surabaya on August 7 and continuing in Malang on August 8, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Universitas Airlangga, the team was welcomed by the university\u2019s MBKM management. The discussion was engaging and focused on inter-faculty coordination systems, the digitalization of MBKM services, and efficient and measurable recognition of student activities. Deasy Arisanty stated that UNAIR has developed a strong system that could serve as a valuable reference for shaping MBKM policies within FKIP ULM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the second day, the benchmarking continued at Universitas Negeri Malang, a university known for its excellence in implementing MBKM within a teacher training institution (LPTK) framework. During the meeting, the FKIP ULM MBKM team explored topics such as school partnerships, faculty involvement in academic mentoring, and the development of adaptive MBKM curricula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raisa Fadilla, Head of the MBKM Unit, stated that the visit provided many concrete insights. One key takeaway to be adopted is the strengthening of outcome-based reporting systems and the development of operational guidelines that are more responsive to the needs of students and institutional partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this benchmarking activity, the MBKM Unit of FKIP ULM hopes to strengthen the integration of managerial, academic, and partnership aspects in the implementation of the MBKM program. This step also reflects the university’s strong commitment to building an innovative and collaborative higher education institution in line with the spirit of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
