Dean of FETT ULM Releases SEA Teacher 2024 Program Students

Banjarmasin – Students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) who participated in the South East Asia (SEA) Teacher student exchange program to 2 universities in the Philippines on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, were released by the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki in his room at 12.00 WITA. This release activity was attended by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman; Head of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) Unit, Raisa Fadilla; Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Management Unit, Emma Rosana Febriyanti; Secretary of the MBKM Unit, Arum Murdianingsih and Rizky Febriyani Putri; Secretary of UPKH for Public Relations, Dewi Alfianti; representatives of the SEA Teacher participant Study Program Coordinator (PS), Muhammad Budi Zakia Sani; and students participating in the SEA Teacher program.

There are 6 students participating in this program, namely Muhammad Salman Anshari Rizky who is also the Chairperson of the FETT Teaching Student Activity Unit (UKM) from Computer Education; Gya Noza Talenta Maharani from Science Education; Ananda Amalia Asyifa from Counseling Guidance; Muhammad Iqbal Wahyudi from Performing Arts Education; Regina Miaza Savitri from Special Education; and Muhammad Hafidzi from Educational Technology. They will be accepted by two universities in the Philippines, University of Immaculate Conception (UIC) on September 21 and Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT) in November 2024.

Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki conveyed several messages when releasing the students, including that the students should maintain the good name of ULM wherever they are. He also advised them to be good at adapting to different cultures including differences in customs and religion. The Dean also hoped that this exchange program can run both ways where FETT ULM is also ready to accept students from the Philippines. Meanwhile, the Head of the MBKM Unit, Raisa Fadilla said that in the near future, FETT ULM will have 6 overseas students in the SEA Teacher program.
