Banjarmasin – The leadership of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) including Dean, Sunarno Basuki; Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty; Deputy Dean for General and Financial Affairs, Dharmono; Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman on Thursday, 03/10, received exchange students from the Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia (SEA Teacher) program. They are students from the University of Immaculate Conception (UIC) Philippines, Arsenia P. Patnongon (Bsed Math) and Sharylyn L. Cabang (BEEd). Both students were accompanied by their lecturer, Lilibeth R. Lozada.
The group was welcomed in the Utility Building meeting room. Also present at this meeting were the Secretary of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka Unit (MBKM), Rizky Febriyani Putri; Field Supervisor (DPL), Rahmita; and a team of student assistants.In his remarks, Dean, Sunarno Basuki expressed his gratitude for the cooperation that has been well established in recent years between FKIP ULM and UIC. He also expressed his appreciation for Lilibeth R. Lozada’s willingness to deliver a public lecture at the English Education Study Program (PS) after the welcome.
On the next day, Friday, 04/10, the two students were escorted to Global Islamic Boarding School (GIBS) which is a partner of FKIP ULM in the foreign student internship program. the two students are planned to be there for approximately a month. The foreign students and their lecturers were escorted by the Head of the MBKM Unit, Raisa Fadilla and MBKM Secretary, Arum Murdianingsih and welcomed by Ali Harun, Head of GIBS Junior High School, and Muhammad Rijali Riyadi, Head of GIBS High School.
