Himapenjas Successfully Obtained Ormawa 2024 PPK Grant

Banjarbaru – Repeating last year’s success, in 2024, the Physical Education Study Program (PS) Student Association (Himapenjas) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) again received a grant for funding the Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK) for Student Organizations (Ormawa). PPK Ormawa is a program to strengthen the capacity of ormawa through a series of ormawa coaching processes by universities that are implemented in community service and empowerment programs launched by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek).

For the year 2024, 622 sub-proposals from various ormawa at HEIs throughout Indonesia successfully received this grant. From ULM, 12 subproposals were successful, and 1 subproposal came from FKIP, namely the Himapenjas subproposal with the title “Development of Ecotourism Based on Sport Tourism in Maintaining the Meratus Geopark Heritage in Tiwingan Lama Village, Banjar Regency”. The activities that are planned to be implemented in this service project are in sequence, namely the socialization of the implementation of PPK Ormawa, training in potential collaboration, structuring a sports tourism-based tourism area, training for sports tourism-based community groups, assistance in making tourism products, forming community groups for tourism management, workshop results by presenting stakeholders. This team will get a total grant of 42 million rupiah with details of 38 million rupiah from the Directorate of Belmawa Kemendikbusristek and 4 million from ULM.

The Himapenjas PPK Ormawa team consists of 17 members with 14 students from PS Penjas, 1 student from PS Sociology Education, and 2 people from PS Special Education (PKh). They are Alitya Putra Maulidan, Adhipramana Amin, Ahmad Tantawi, Muhammad Adlian Ashafiq, Muhammad Hamka Ferdiansyah, Muhammad Ridho, Muhammad Ihsan Fadil, Nur Latifah, Naila Putri Akbar, Puteri Febrena Fauzy, Via Yunis Nofianti, Winda Sri Wahyuliana, Navia Paramita, Kymerarheta Anggara Mukti, Tesaleonika Putri Situmorang (PS Sociology Education), Nur Aida (PS PKh), Nor Rahmawati (PS PKh).
