Banjarmasin – On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) received a visit from more than 100 students from the State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Simpang Empat, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan. They arrived in Banjarmasin at around 11:00 WITA by using a number of buses. After a brief tour, the group of students was received by the Performing Arts Education Study Program (PSP), which was the main purpose of the visit. The meeting was held in Hasan Bondan Hall of FETT ULM from 12.00-13.30 WITA.

The meeting was opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman and attended by PSP managers and lecturers. In his speech, Ali expressed his appreciation for this visit. “We really appreciate the visit made by SMKN 1 Simpang Empat as a real step by the school in introducing students to various study programs on campus, especially ULM, so that students have insight and information about the campus academic atmosphere if they later want to continue their studies,” he said. Meanwhile, representing the school, who gave a speech was one of the teachers, Ni Putu Sri Wahyuni.

At this meeting, Radap Rahayu dance and choir performances were held by PSP students, PSP socialization by the PSP Coordinator, Muhammad Budi Zakia Sani, and a visit to the PSP music study room. (admin)
