PS PPKn Students Win NUDC & KDMI FKIP ULM 2024

Banjarmasin – The Subdivision of Student Affairs and Alumni of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) and the Student Executive Board (BEM) of FKIP ULM this year again facilitated the NUDC ( National University Debating Championship ) and KDMI (Indonesian Student Debate Competition) competitions at the faculty level. This English and Indonesian debate competition is an annual debate event from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) whose winner selection is tiered starting from the faculty level, university level, and national level. The Technical Meeting (TM) for this competition was previously held on Friday, February 16, 2024 in the Utility Building meeting room.

The NUDC and KDMI competitions were held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at the Student Activity Center (SAT) ULM starting at 09.00 WITA with the judges appointed for NUDC namely Elvina Arapah, Nasrullah, and Emma Rosana Febriyanti, all of whom are lecturers of the English Education Study Program (PS) who have experience assessing English-language debate competitions, while the judges for the KDMI competition were Dian Agus Ruchliyadi, Faradina, and Arum Murdianingsih.

Based on the committee’s information, the first place in both competitions was won by a team of students from Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn), namely Muhammad Tahmidillah & Syari Wulan Safitri for NUDC, and Nursyifa Yulianti & Achmad Syaiba for KDMI. Meanwhile, in NUDC, the second place was won by Nadya Fitri Azzahra & Gita Nindi Astuti from English Education; and the third place was won by Fenny Afrianti Maylina Prameswari & Najla Nur Salima from Mathematics Education. The Best Speaker for NUDC was (1) Muhammad Tahmidillah from PS PPKn, and (2) Gita Nindi Astuti from PS English Education.

In KDMI, the second winner was Cahyani Widya Safitri & Olinda Rizky Amalia from Special Education (PKh); and the third winner was Rabiatul & Nurlaila from Economic Education A team. The best speakers were (1) Cahyani Widya Safitri from PKh, (2) Nursyifa Yulianti from PPKn, (3) Rabiatul from Economic Education A, and (4) Gina Mardiana from Biology Education.
