The atmosphere of AL PS Educational Technology FETT ULM

Banjarmasin – The marathon series of Field Accreditation (AL) 4 Study Programs (PS) within the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), closed with the arrival of assessors at the AL PS of Educational Technology on Friday-Saturday, February 2-3, 2024 centered in the Senate Meeting Room of FKIP ULM. They are Semarang State University Professor, Haryono, and Surabaya State University lecturer, Andi Kristanto. The activity was opened by the ULM Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Iwan Aflanie and attended by the Secretary of the ULM Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP), Arif Solahuddin; Head of the General Section of FKIP ULM, Ani Isdiati Basri; Head of the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) FKIP ULM, Ananda Setiawan and the UPM team, Saiyidah Mahtari, Nurul Hidayati Utami, Meliyana Aini, Muhammad Muhaimin, Sauqinah, Tika Puspita Widya Rini, and Imelda Indah Savitri; Heads of Subdivisions: Ida Auliani, Isnawati, and Akmil Fuadi Rahman; Head of the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Unit of FKIP ULM, Nuruddin Wiranda; Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Management Unit (UPKH), Emma Rosana Febriyanti; Computer Education Technology PS Coordinator, Susanti Sufyadi and lecturers in the Educational Technology environment.

AL activities on the first day began with UPPS (Study Program Management Unit) assessment, namely the faculty, followed by PS assessment, then lecturer interviews, followed by stake-holder and alumni interviews, then interviews with educational staff (tendik). On the second day, the activities carried out were visitation of infrastructure facilities, student interviews, microteaching assessments, signing of minutes, and description of notes and recommendations by assessors.

In the closing session, the assessor said that in general all the criteria had gone well. A visionary and unique vision should be followed by readiness to meet the achievement deadline in the specified year. The assessor’s recommendations include the need to add lecturers with a background in educational technology, as well as strengthening what has gone well regarding student achievements in national and international competitions. The activity was closed by the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki, who expressed his readiness to carry out the recommendations given. According to him, in the future, one of the efforts in the context of developing UPPS and PS, FETT ULM will prepare to collaborate with a number of city and district governments for distance learning. According to him, various efforts related to the development of FETT ULM in the future will be carried out in the future. Hopefully PS Educational Technology will get the best results as expected.
