Banjarmasin – After being elected as the Head of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) for the 2024 period in the elections that took place at the end of December 2023, Akhmad Hamdani, was officially inaugurated by the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki in the ceremonial inauguration of the BEM and Student Representative Council (DPM) of FKIP ULM which was held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in the Rectorate Hall on the 1st floor. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rahman; Head of General Affairs, Ani Isdiati Basri; Head of Student Affairs and Alumni Subdivision, Rabiatul Adawiyah; the BEM and DPM administrators who were commissioned; and the BEM and DPM administrators who will be inaugurated.
The Dean of FKIP ULM inaugurated 71 BEM administrators, including in the BEM management structure, Akhmad Hamdani as chairman, Alitya Putra Maulidan as vice chairman, Tesaleonika Putri Situmorang as secretary, Aiysa Fairuza as deputy secretary, Heldawati as treasurer, and Nur Aida as deputy treasurer. The structure underneath includes the Information Media Bureau headed by Muchammad Ardhabilly and the Organizational Management Bureau headed by Meiylina Ariani as well as several departments including the Service Department with Department Head, Andri Noor Azumardi; Development Department with Department Head, I Putu Widi Rangga Aditya; Movement Department with Department Head, Muhammad Haykal Yosipratama; and Service Department with Department Head, Akhmad Hapis Ansari. On the same occasion, 34 DPM administrators were also inaugurated with the following structure, Chairman, Muhammad Taqyuddin Zuwardi; Deputy, Muhammad Rizky Al Farabi; Secretary, Siti Muzdalifah; Treasurer, Chindy Masita Abdul Rahim with 4 commissions namely legislation, supervision, budget, and aspirations and public relations.
In his post inauguration speech, Sunarno Basuki conveyed a message that the BEM and DPM administrators can optimize their function as a liaison between faculty and students and can be a wise liaison. “Organizations are a place to learn and forge yourself into a wiser and more mature person so that when you really go into society, this organizational experience can help students carry out their social functions well,” he said.
