Banjarmasin – The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) on July 23-25, 2024 held a series of competitions entitled FKIP-Land 2024. In organizing this activity, BEM FKIP ULM in collaboration with the Subdivision of Student Affairs and Alumni of FKIP ULM held a number of competitions for students who wanted to participate both individually and in groups.
FKIP-Land carries competitions with elements of three scientific fields of study, namely (1) the field of knowledge includes a quiz competition, Indonesian speech competition; (2) the field of sports and e-sports includes basketball and Mobile Legends competitions; and (3) the field of arts which includes solo vocals and traditional dance creations of Kalimantan.
According to the Head of BEM FKIP ULM, Akhmad Hamdani, FKIP-Land managed to gather students from all backgrounds. The competition event was not only attended by almost all faculty representatives at ULM, but also followed by campus students outside South Kalimantan. “FKIP-Land is expected to continue to be a positive sustainability program and become the face or branding of FKIP in the external arena of faculties and universities. With all the capabilities that exist, BEM FKIP 2024 presents FKIP LAND with great hope and enthusiasm, for FKIP which continues to be better in the future, “he said.
According to Hamdani, FKIP-Land was prepared with the cooperation of all elements of BEM FKIP, Ormawa (Student Organization) delegates and volunteers from FKIP students, this activity went well. “As the Chairman of BEM FKIP ULM, representing the management, I would like to thank all FETT student organization delegates and FETT student volunteers who have been involved in the success of FETT-Land,” he said.
In the closing ceremony of FKIP-Land which was held on Thursday, July 25 starting at 4:30 pm, the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki, who was accompanied by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman, expressed his appreciation for the organization of this activity. He stated that he was proud of the implementation of this activity and fully supported the implementation next year by adding branches of competition so that students would be more active in competing and showing their achievements. In this closing, the committee also distributed prizes to the winners, some of whom were FETT ULM students. (admin)
