Banjarmasin – In preparation for lectures for prospective teacher students, the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Study Program (PS) of the Institute for Educational Personnel Education (LPTK), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held Orientation Education and Training (Diklat) for New Student Teacher Candidates Wave 2 Year 2024. This activity was held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at the General Building Lecture Theater ULM at 08.00-12.00 WITA.
This activity was opened by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty and attended by the Head of General Affairs and the Heads of Subdivisions as well as the Study Program Coordinator (Korprodi) and Study Program Coordinator whose students were participants in this orientation activity. The new students participating in the PPG Orientation Training for Prospective Teachers Wave 2 Year 2024 consist of the fields of study (1) Elementary School Teacher Education 176 people, (2) Indonesian Language 38 people, (3) English 40 people, (4) Guidance and Counseling 21 people, (5) Economics 4 people, (6) Natural Sciences (IPA) 24 people, (7) Social Science (IPS) 10 people, (8) Mathematics 25 people, (9) Chemistry 13 people, (10) Physical Education and Health 20 people, (11) Pancasila and Citizenship Education 21 people, (12) Informatics 43 people, (13) Special Education 14 people, and (14) History 19 people.
In her speech, Deasy Arisanty congratulated all students who had passed the PPG program at FKIP ULM. “Maximize this educational opportunity to improve your professionalism as qualified prospective teachers,” she said.
A number of materials were presented to the participants, including the Vision and Mission of the FKIP ULM PPG by Korprodi PS PPG, Hidayah Anshori; PPG Curriculum for Prospective Teachers at FKIP ULM by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dharmono; PPG Lecture System for Prospective Teachers at FKIP ULM by the Secretary of PS PPG, Mohammad Dani Wahyudi; PPG PPL System for Prospective Teachers at FKIP ULM by Hidayah Anshori; and PPG LMS System for Prospective Teachers at FKIP ULM by PS PPG Information Technology (IT) Admin, Galih Rizki Khairul Ulum.
Regarding this orientation training, Hidayah Anshori hopes that Prospective Teacher Professional Education (PPG-CG) students, previously called Pre-Service PPG, prepare themselves to get used to studying with many tasks that must be completed “Tasks must be completed regularly so that they do not accumulate. Complete tasks by learning not getting completion from other parties, also take care of your health. Fellow PPG-CG participants are friends to collaborate with, not opponents to compete with,” he said. (admin)
