One of the speakers, Erlina, talked about Green Curriculum. According to her, the social studies education curriculum is very appropriate to be approached with an environmental approach because it is closely related to efforts to foster collective social awareness of the earth’s condition today. In her presentation, in the implementation of this environment-based curriculum there are a number of learning steps that need to be done including (1) pre-contemplation: not believing in climate change or even realizing these changes, (2) Contemplation: believing in climate change but not considering action, (3) preparatory steps: have considered but there has been no change in behavior, (4) minimal action: individual efforts but see limitations and difficulties, (5) maintenance: trying to make some actions a habit, (6) termination: maintaining a low-carbon lifestyle and linking it to life ideology.
