Again, ULM FETT Lecturer Achieves Competence in K3 Competency Certification Test

Yogyajarta – Ten lecturers of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) participated in Competency Training and Certification in Occupational Safety and Health (K3) at the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) Yogyakarta, including Professor of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI) Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) ULM, Rusma Noortyani. This activity was carried out from July 17 to 21, 2024 at the UII Professional Certification Institute (LSP). The participation of these lecturers is part of the Higher Education Revitalization program and part of the effort to meet the achievement of Main Performance Indicator (IKU) 4.

In the training conducted before the competency test, Rusma explained that participants received a number of materials on occupational safety and health. “Participants received materials including communication that must be carried out to workers or employees. Participants also participated in practical materials held directly at UII partner companies. Here, participants directly observed the practice of K3 at PT Mega Andalan Kalasan. After the training, participants undergo a competency test consisting of a written competency test, presentation of observation results, and interviews,” he said.

In the competency test on the K3 competency scheme M.71KKK03.003.1 Conducting Occupational Safety and Health Communication according to the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) scheme, these ten ULM lecturers were declared competent. Congratulations to the participants, hopefully their competence can be useful for the progress of ULM. (admin)
