Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) once again received assessors from the Education Self Accreditation Institute (Lamdik) in the Field Assessment (AL) accreditation of the Mathematics Education Study Program (PS), namely Professor of Ganesha University of Education, Bali, I Gusti Putu Suharta, and lecturer at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Banten, Cecep Anwar Hadi Firdos Santosa on Thursday-Friday, January 18-19, 2024. The activity was centered in the meeting room of the Professor of FKIP ULM with a number of agendas including UPPS (Study Program Management Unit) assessment, namely the Dean; PS assessment, alumni and stakeholder assessment, student assessment, and infrastructure visitation on the first day and micro-learning assessment, education staff assessment and handover of minutes on the second day.
The AL was opened by the Rector of ULM, Ahmad Aliem Bahri, who was accompanied by the Head of ULM’s Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute (LPMPP), Agung Nugroho. In the UPPS assessment session, the assessors asked for explanations about the achievement of the vision and mission, follow-up on the results of the collaboration evaluation, integration of wetland characters in tridarma, quality evaluation processes, and UPPS development plans for PS Mathematics Education. In the closing session, the assessors conveyed a number of notes including that the self-evaluation documents collected were very good and in line with checking evidence in the field; postifi appreciation from alumni and stakeholders who felt proud of the PS of Mathematics Education. The assessors also provided input related to strengthening teaching practices in vocational education.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki is committed to following up on all the input provided by the assessors and said that the development of PS in FKIP ULM has indeed become the focus of UPPS. Hopefully PS Mathematics Education will get the best accreditation assessment results as expected. (admin)
