Banjarmasin – The Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Study Program (PS) is again trusted as the organizer of the Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) for the Competency Test for Teacher Professional Education Participants (UKPPPG) for Specified Teachers Wave 2 in 2024. This activity was held for 4 consecutive days on 19-22/10 in 2 sessions, morning and afternoon starting at 08.00-16.30 WITA at the PS PGSD Computer Laboratory. Certain PPPG Teacher UTBK participants managed by PS PPG FKIP ULM in this wave totaled 4,200 participants from all over Indonesia. They come from 18 fields of study and are supervised by 56 supervisors consisting of lecturers and educational staff (tendik) in FKIP ULM. The supervisors were accompanied by supervisors sent by the Directorate of Teachers and Education Personnel of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Dirjen GTK Kemdikbudristek), namely Tri Wintolo from Hamka University, and Sri Wahyuni from Semarang State University.
Regarding FKIP ULM as the organizer, one of the supervisors, Sri Wahyuni, said that FKIP ULM had carried out its role well. Technical matters related to the network did not experience significant obstacles. Even if there are obstacles, more come from the Center and from the participants themselves. According to her, the supervisors have also carried out their duties well. “The performance of the supervisors has been very good. They have good integrity, are friendly, polite, and swift,” he said.
In line with this, PS PPG Coordinator, Hidayah Ansori expressed his appreciation, especially for the performance of the committee. “The committee works professionally, without having to be directed, they already understand what to do,” he explained. Regarding the venue, he hopes that in the next exam, the organizers can get a more representative place so that all supervisors can be in one room.
One of the supervisors, Risna Hani conveyed her impression of being a supervisor at the exam this time. according to her, the exam implementation procedures have been carried out by her and fellow supervisors such as creating a Wa group with participants, contacting participants who cannot attend, conducting simulations, accompanying and supervising the exam. “Supervisors must focus and have great patience in conducting this supervision,” he concluded.
