Banjarmasin – The Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), FKIP Mengajar on Saturday, May 11, 2024 held a ceremonial opening of Educational Days in 2024. The activity was held in Hasan Bondan Hall, FETT ULM from 09.00-11.00 WITA. According to the head of UKM FKIP Mengajar, Muhammad Salman Anshari Rizky, Educational Days is an annual event held in commemoration of National Education Day. “Educational Days consists of a series of competitions related to education. This year the focus of our work program is to support the faculty in achieving IKU (Key Performance Indicators -red), including the implementation of Educational Days this time,” he said.
Attending this activity included the FKIP Mengajar UKM coaches, Dewi Alfianti and Nasrullah; administrators; members; and invited guests from a number of student organizations (ormawa) at FKIP ULM. In his remarks, one of the coaches, Nasrullah, expressed his hope that in addition to being an organizer, the FKIP Mengajar agents could also participate in various educational competitions at the local, national and international levels in order to form a stronger competitive spirit.
The series of competitions in the Educational Days event include (1) a national learning media competition on May 18-June 7, (2) a national education poster competition on May 10-June 8, (3) a national essay competition on May 11, (4) a provincial teaching competition on May 18, (5) a provincial debate competition on May 18, and (6) a Banjarmasin city-level elementary school competition on May 25.
