Solo – The Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Management Unit (UPKH) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), Emma Rosana Febriyanti, accompanied by the Secretary of Public Relations (Humas), Dewi Alfianti, and staff, Imelda Indah Savitri, made a cooperation visit to FKIP Slamet Riyadi University (Unisri), Surakarta, Central Java. The team was welcomed by the Acting Dean, Anggit Grahito Wicaksono and a number of Study Program Coordinators (Korprodi) within FKIP Unisri on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, starting at 10.00 WIB.

This visit was carried out in the context of signing the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) document between FKIP ULM and FKIP Unisri as well as the implementation of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) or Focused Group Discussion which discussed the cooperation plan between the two parties. In his opening remarks, Anggit expressed his excitement for the cooperation that might be built. FKIP Unisri only has 6 S-1 Study Programs (PS) and 1 PPG PS with only 1 PS accredited superior can learn a lot from FKIP ULM which has 21 S-1 PS, almost all of which are accredited superior. FKIP Unisri hopes that in the future it can be guided in preparing for accreditation that will be carried out by a number of PS.

In the discussion a number of korprodi conveyed a number of questions about the development of PS to the UPKH team. Emma and the team then shared the experiences of a number of PS in FKIP ULM in developing PS including by maximizing tridarma activities. At the end of the activity, both parties agreed to follow up on this collaboration by connecting between the Corprodi concerned so that the form of cooperation and its implementation could be agreed upon by both parties.

A number of PSs that can work together include PS Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn), PS Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD), PS Guidance Counseling (BK), PS English Education, and PS Early Childhood Education Teacher Education (PG PAUD). “We plan to hold a zoom meeting for Korprodi who want to work together,” said Emma.
