Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS) of State University of Malang (UM) conducted a cooperation visit to the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) on Monday, July 29, 2024 starting at 09.00 WITA. The group of FIS UM who came included the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Siti Alawiyah; Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Syamsul Bachri; plt. Coordinator of the S-2 / S-3 Geography Education Study Program (Korprodi), Sugeng Utaya; Korprodi S-2 Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn), Didik Sukriono; Korprodi S-2 History Education, Aditya Nugroho Widiadi; Academic and Student Affairs Education Personnel (Tendik) FIS, Wahyu Rio Defandiari and Doni Prabowo.
They were warmly welcomed by the leadership of FKIP ULM who this time were present in full, including the Dean and Professor of Physical Education FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki; Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Geography Education, Deasy Arisanty; Deputy Dean for General and Financial Affairs, Dharmono; Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman; Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, Ananda Setiawan; Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Management Unit (UPKH), Emma Rosana Febriyanti accompanied by the secretaries, Dewi Dewantara and Dewi Alfianti; Head of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) Unit, Raisa Fadilla accompanied by the secretary, Hendro Yulius Suryo Putro; Head of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) Unit, Nuruddin Wiranda; Head of General Affairs, Ani Isdiati Basri; Kasubag: Isnawati, Rabiatul Adawiyah, Ida Auliani, and Akmil Fuadi Rahman; Head of the Social Science Education Department (JIPS), Sidharta Adyatma; Korprodi Pendidikan Geografi, Karunia Puji Astuti; PS PPKn Coordinator, Mariatul Kiptiah; PS History Education Coordinator, Melisa Prawitasari; PS IPS Education Coordinator, Mutiani, and a number of lecturers from the 4 PS.
In his opening remarks, the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki explained the profile of FKIP ULM as well as expressed his appreciation for the arrival of the FIS ULM group. He also said that his party was ready to work together up to the implementation level. Meanwhile, FIS UM, represented by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Syamsul Bachri, expressed their desire to synergize with FKIP ULM and hoped that the implementation of cooperation could be sustainable.
After the welcoming activity, the visit agenda continued with the signing of the Cooperation Agreement document between FIS UM and FKIP ULM and the signing of the Implementation of Arrangement (IA) document by the PS Coordinators on both sides. After signing the cooperation document, the group conducted a panel on the implementation of cooperation including the promotion of lectures in each PS, namely PS PPKn, PS History Education, and PS IPS Education.
