Hima Tekpend FKIP ULM Holds Indoor Excamp 2024

Banjarmasin – The Educational Technology Student Association (Hima Tekpend) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) organized the Educational Technology Explore Camp (Excamp) Indoor 2024 which took place in Hall 1 of the ULM Rectorate with the theme “HoningLeadership Skills in the Digital Age to Form a Generation of Leaders who are resilient and have integrity“.

In his remarks, the Chief Executive of the Activity Muhammad Ihsan expressed his hopes for all Excamp 2024 participants. “I hope that through this activity it can form cadres of student associations who are academic in organization and God willing, one day they will build Hima Tekpen and make the Educational Technology study program proud,” he said. Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of Hima Tekpend FKIP ULM, Akhmad Fadhil Amara revealed that this activity was the first step of the actual Educational Technology Explore Camp activity. He hopes that the participants who have participated in this activity can then collaborate with Hima Tekpend and other organizations. The remarks were also delivered by a representative lecturer of the Educational Technology Study Program (PS) FKIP ULM, Qomario, M.Pd. who gave his appreciation and support for the holding of Excamp 2024.

Excamp Indoor presented four speakers, starting with the presentation of material about the Indonesian Educational Technology Student Association (Imatepsi) which was delivered directly by one of the members of the Imatepsi Business Fund, Muhammad Fajrian. The second speaker came from the ULM Student Executive Board (BEM) for the 2022/2023 period, Ahmad Nurhadi, who discussed leadership skills in organizations. In addition, the Head of BEM FISIP Muhammad Zhaldi Putra Fahrizal was also present as a resource person in this activity by presenting material on leadership. In his delivery, Zhaldi conveyed how to improve communication skills in a student organization. Finally, Excamp Indoor also presented a resource person who focuses on the field of public relations, Sri Annisa, who is the Public Relation of Wetland Box with the topic of discussion, namely the character of students who have ethics.

On the sidelines of the presentation of the material, participants did ice breaking by performing the yells of their respective groups randomly appointed by the Master of Ceremony (MC). The interactive discussion and question and answer session then switched to the fun game agenda . The fun game was packaged in the form of a quiz about the Educational Technology Student Association and Educational Figures guided by Chairperson Akhmad Fadhil Amara and Event Coordinator Wildan Tamami. Finally, the committee gave appreciation in the form of prizes and trophies as a form of feedback to the best participants individually and as a group. (contributor: Siti Harjanti Puspita)
