Banjarmasin – Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 14.00 WITA, Ravi Makhija, Director of Tie Ups International (TUI) returned to visit the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) after a similar visit in 2023. His arrival was welcomed by the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki, accompanied by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty; Head of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) Unit, Raisa Fadilla; Head of General Affairs, Ani Isdiati Basri, Head of General and BMN Subdivision, Isnawati; and Head of Student Affairs and Alumni Subdivision, Rabiatul Adawiyah. TUI is an institution established with the aim of promoting Indian education in Indonesia and increasing educational ties between India and Asean countries including Indonesia. FETT ULM itself has collaborated with Tie Ups International since 2020, especially in the OELTP program where FETT ULM students are included in the English communication course held by AES (Acharya Education Services) India with TUI as the contact person.

During his visit, Ravi Makhija conveyed his plan to hold an educational exhibition of educational institutions in India which he hoped could be held in Banjarmasin. In addition, he also hopes that cooperation between FKIP ULM and a number of universities in India can be realized, including by organizing guest lectures or exchanging lecturers by teaching each other online.

Responding to Ravi Makhija’s visit, Sunarno Basuki responded well and committed to follow up by offering this cooperation plan to Study Programs (PS) in FKIP ULM who are interested in collaborating. (admin)
