Martapura, Banjarbaru – The Cooperation and Public Relations Management Unit (UPKH) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) on Wednesday, 09/10 and Tuesday, 15/10 visited the Banjar Regency Education Office and the Banjarbaru City Education Office. This visit was carried out by the Chairperson of UPKH, Emma Rosana Febriyanti; Secretary of UPKH for Cooperation, Dewi Dewantara; Secretary of UPKH for Public Relations, Dewi Alfianti; and UPKH Admin, Muhammad Naufal Yaasir.

The group was received separately by the Head of the Banjar Regency Education Office (Kadisdik), Liana Penny, and the Head of the Banjarmasin City Office, Dedy Soetoyo in their respective offices. The visit was carried out in order to discuss the position of the education office as an umbrella agency for schools that have been working with FKIP ULM in carrying out Field Experience Practices (PPL) or the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) Teaching Assistance program. This position finally made the Education Office as the agency that signed the cooperation agreement document with FKIP ULM.

The Heads of Service of both regions showed good commitment in this regard. However, the cooperation process between the two parties must still go through a bureaucratic process by coordinating the draft and content of the cooperation with the district and city governments that oversee the education office. Regarding this visit, Emma expressed her hope that the process of initiating this cooperation can be completed in 2024. “Hopefully all cooperation documents related to MBKM Teaching Assistance activities and the implementation of tridarma can be signed by the heads of offices so that they can be reported as the achievement of IKU (Key Performance Indicators) in the field of cooperation,” she said.
