Banjarmasin – The Educational Technology Study Program (PS) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) on Friday-Saturday, May 17-18, 2024 held a Workshop (Training) for Outcome Based Education (OBE) S-1 and S-2 Curriculum for lecturers in the Tekpen environment. This activity was held in the Postgraduate Meeting Room and FKIP ULM meeting room from 08.00-17.00 WITA. The event was opened by the Head of the Education Science Department (JIP), Nina Permatasari and attended by PS Tekpen lecturers, both S-1 and S-2. The speakers for this training included Professor of Social Studies Education FKIP ULM, Ersis Warmansyah Abbas who delivered on the concept of curriculum; Professor of Surabaya State University (Unesa), Mustadji who delivered on PS Tekpen curriculum development materials; and Unesa lecturer, Awang Dharmawan who delivered on the Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum and RPL (Recognition of Past Learning).
According to the Coordinator of the Study Program (Korprodi), Susanti Sufyadi, the background of this activity is the change in curriculum due to the need for adjustments to ULM academic guidelines, changes in national standards of higher education, and evaluation of the existing curriculum due to developments in science and technology. “The target of this activity itself is the presence of curriculum documents that are in accordance with KKNI (Indonesian National Qualification Curriculum) based on Outcome Based Education (OBE) to accommodate Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) activities and preparations for international accreditation at PS Tekpen,” he said.
According to one of the speakers, Mustadji, the development of the new curriculum was carried out with the aim of achieving the vision and mission of the PS and the desired graduate profile; determining the direction of PS education in accordance with developments; creating the expected learning climate; improving the quality of education quality; and producing graduates who are beneficial to the community in accordance with the Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) so that within 3-5 years graduates can achieve the graduate profile set by the PS.
