Banjarmasin – As a follow-up to the initial preparation meeting for ACQUIN international accreditation for 13 Study Programs (PS) within the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), faculty leaders facilitated the implementation of OBE curriculum training. This activity was held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in Hasan Bondan Hall starting at 13.00 WITA for 2 hours. In his remarks, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty said that this activity intends to strengthen the preparation of PS in international accreditation, the emphasis of which is on the implementation of the Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum. “The curriculum is a very important component to be prepared immediately,” she said.

This training was conducted by Heri Susanto who is also one of the administrators of the LPM Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute (LPMPP). The participants were the Coordinators and curriculum teams from Economics Education, History Education, Pancasila and Citizenship Education, Sociology Education, Geography Education, Social Science Education, Indonesian Language and Literature Education, English Education, Performing Arts Education, Special Education, Elementary School Teacher Education, Early Childhood Education, and Counseling.

In his presentation, Heri emphasized that it is very important to formulate Graduate Learning Outcomes (SLOs) that can indeed be achieved by students and can be measured. So far, PS tends to formulate so many SLOs, but does not evaluate their achievement on an ongoing basis. In addition to explaining a lot about the substance of the OBE curriculum, Heri also explained the use of Simari OBE that ULM already has. (admin)
