Banjarmasin – From February 17, 2024 to March 2, the Student Association (Hima) of the Sociology Education Study Program (PS), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held Manadarak Arts and Sports activities. Manadarak in Banjar language means planting rice seeds before they are placed in the fields. According to the advisor of Hima, Muhammad Adhitya Hidayat Putra, this activity aims to strengthen the relationship between students per generation, alumni and lecturers. “This activity is also mainly held to prepare superior seeds to be competed to represent the study program to the faculty, university, and even national levels,” he said.

Manadarak 2024, which raised the theme ‘Awakening the Bubuhan Spirit through Sportsmanship, Creativity, and Unity in Sports and Arts’, contested a number of competitions from the arts and sports fields. Among these activities are futsal, badminton, PES and Mobile Legend game competitions, traditional game competitions for sports. For arts including song cover competitions, poetry reading, traditional dance, creative content videos, posters, posters, and posters.
