Banjarmasin – After undergoing a direct field audit process by auditors or internal quality assessors from the Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute (LPMPP), 21 Study Programs (PS) within the ULM Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) received minutes containing audit results containing assessment scores in the fields of education, research, and community service as well as overall or total scores. The minutes also contain recommendations for improvement from the audit findings.
A number of PSs managed to achieve points above 90 which shows the very good quality of the implementation of tridarma. These include PS Biology Education (96.55), PS Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) (93.55), PS Social Science Education (93.41), PS Chemistry Education (91.56), PS Science Education (91.56), PS Natural Science Education (IPA) (91.38), PS Physical Education (90.77), PS Guidance and Counseling (90.77), and PS Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) (90.09). From the distribution of scores in the three areas of tridarma, PS Biology Education and PS PGSD got almost perfect scores at 90.
Meanwhile, 9 other PSs received scores in the range of 85-89, namely PS Geography Education (89.51), PS Mathematics Education (88, 96), PS Performing Arts Education (PSP) (88.70), PS Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI) (88.48), PS Physics Education (88.37), PS Special Education (88.36), PS Economics Education (86.59), PS Educational Technology (86.53), and PS Computer Education (86, 44).
According to the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty, several things that still need to be improved for better quality are patent proposals by PS, functional positions that are still dominated by expert assistant lecturers and lecturers and are still not optimal for head lecturers, let alone professors, and there are still many lecturers whose Sinta scores are below standard. “The findings obtained in almost all PS will be anticipated by the faculty leaders, including by holding training for patents, assisting lecturers to increase Sinta scores, and assisting in improving functional positions,” he explained.
