FKIP ULM Holds KDMI and NUDC 2023

Situation of KDMI (doc. UPKH FKIP ULM)

Banjarmasin: The Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), through the Student Affairs and Alumni Subdivisions, held an annual competition for students, namely KDMI (Indonesian Student Debate Competition) which is an Indonesian language debate competition and NUDC (National Debating University Championship) on the Wednesday, 27 February 2023 for the Indonesian debate and Thursday, 28 February 2023 for the English debate. The activity occurred in the ULM Student Activity Center (SAC) building.

The judges at KDMI were Rusma Noortyani and Faradina, lecturers in the English Language Education Study Program (PBSI), and Dian Agus Ruchliyadi, lecturers in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program (PKn). Participants in this competition consisted of 15 teams from 15 Study Programs, namely teams from the Biology Education Study Program, the Special Education Study Program, the Physics Education Study Program, the Geography Education Study Program, the English Language Education Study Program, the Sociology Education Study Program, the Economics Education Study Program, PBSI Study Program with two teams, Civics Education Study Program, Educational Technology Study Program (Tekpen), History Education Study Program, Computer Education Study Program, Natural Science Education Study Program (IPA) and Chemistry Education Study Program. The team that won the KDMI this time was the PBSI 1 Study Program team (Nor Alya-Nurul Huda) as the 1st winner, the Civics Education Study Program team (Nur Syifa Yulianti-Siti Mahmudah) as the 2nd winner, and the Tekpen Study Program (Adinda Sadilla-Hadianoor ), as well as the PBSI 2 Study Program team (Raiza Sukmaningsih-Nadjwa Salshabilla Humayra). In this event, the best speaker was also selected on behalf of Nurul Huda from the PBSI Study Program.

Meanwhile, the judges at NUDC were Nasrullah, Yusuf Al Arief, who is a lecturer in the English Education Study Program, and Muhammad Rahmattullah, a lecturer in the Economics Education Study Program. NUDC contestants are teams from the Biology Education Study Program, the English Language Education Study Program, the Sociology Education Study Program, the Economics Education Study Program, the Civics Education Study Program, and the Science Education Study Program. Of the 6 Study Programs that competed, the following winners were selected, the team from the English Education Study Program (Wildy Ahmad Fayadhi and Fahdian Qanitah) won 1st place with a total score of 490, the team from the Biology Education Study Program (Rizki Amalia Putri and Yuliana Nurrahma Sari) as the 2nd winner with a total value of 422; the team from the Civic Education Study Program (Devy Nor Apriani and Muhammad Tahmidillah) won 3rd place with a total score, and the team and the Economics Education Study Program (Yanor and Emma Nur Inayah) won 1st place with a total of 399. Selected as the best speaker, Wildy Ahmad Fayadhi from the English Education Study Program.

The first and second winners in the KDMI and NUDC events will represent FKIP in the same competition at the university level. Congratulations to the winners. I hope they continue to be successful and make FKIP ULM proud of national-level competitions. (admin)
