One Thousand Scholars Scholarship is a flagship program by the Government of Balangan Regency aimed at improving the quality of human resources (HR) through educational assistance for local students pursuing higher education. This program is a tangible commitment of the local government in supporting more equitable and quality access to education.

Phase 1 – Year 2025

In 2025, this scholarship program reopens through Phase 1, with the following terms and targets:

Program Objectives

• Encourage an increase in the number of bachelor’s graduates from Balangan Regency.
• Provide opportunities for academically high-achieving students from underprivileged backgrounds.
• Reduce the dropout rate due to financial barriers in education.

Target Recipients

• Active students originally from Balangan Regency.
• Enrolled in accredited public or private universities.
• Meet the predetermined criteria in terms of academic performance and economic background.

General Requirements

1. Resident of Balangan Regency, proven by ID card (KTP) or Family Card (KK).
2. Active student in at least the 2nd semester at the time of registration.
3. Attach academic transcript (minimum GPA as required).
4. Poverty certificate issued by the village/urban administrative office.
5. Not currently receiving a similar scholarship from another institution.
6. Complete all required administrative documents as per the applicable regulations.

Type of Assistance

• Educational financial assistance (non-binding to employment).
• The amount of assistance is adjusted based on the level of education and regional budget availability.

Bank Indonesia Scholarship is an educational assistance program provided by Bank Indonesia to outstanding students at various universities across Indonesia. This program not only offers financial aid but also coaching and soft skills development through the scholarship recipient organization known as GenBI (Generasi Baru Indonesia).

Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) Kuliah adalah program bantuan pendidikan dari Pemerintah Republik Indonesia melalui Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) yang ditujukan untuk siswa lulusan SMA/sederajat yang memiliki potensi akademik baik namun berasal dari keluarga kurang mampu secara ekonomi, agar tetap bisa melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Tujuan Program

• Meningkatkan akses pendidikan tinggi bagi siswa dari keluarga kurang mampu.
• Menjamin pemerataan pendidikan yang adil dan inklusif.
• Mendorong lahirnya generasi muda yang unggul dan berdaya saing tinggi.

Manfaat KIP Kuliah

1. Bebas biaya pendidikan (UKT/SPP) yang langsung dibayarkan ke perguruan tinggi.
2. Bantuan biaya hidup bulanan, yang disesuaikan berdasarkan klaster wilayah atau kebutuhan mahasiswa. Besarannya berkisar antara Rp800.000 – Rp1.400.000 per bulan, tergantung program studi dan daerah.

Syarat Penerima KIP Kuliah

• Lulusan SMA/SMK/MA atau sederajat yang lulus pada tahun berjalan atau maksimal 2 tahun sebelumnya.
• Telah lulus seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru (SNBP, SNBT, atau mandiri) di PTN atau PTS dengan akreditasi yang ditentukan.
• Berasal dari keluarga kurang mampu, dibuktikan dengan:
  • Kepemilikan Kartu KIP/KKS/PKH/DTKS, atau
  • Pendapatan orang tua maksimal sesuai ketentuan (biasanya dibuktikan dengan SKTM atau surat penghasilan).
• Memiliki potensi akademik yang baik (dibuktikan dengan rapor dan/atau prestasi lainnya).

Alur Pendaftaran

1. Registrasi akun di laman resmi: kip-kuliah.kemdikbud.go.id
2. Lengkapi data pribadi dan keluarga.
3. Pilih jalur seleksi (SNBP, SNBT, atau mandiri).
4. Setelah lolos seleksi masuk perguruan tinggi, data akan diverifikasi oleh kampus.
5. Jika dinyatakan layak, maka akan ditetapkan sebagai penerima KIP Kuliah.

Jenis Program Studi yang Diutamakan

• Program studi dengan akreditasi A dan B.
• Program yang mendukung pembangunan nasional, seperti sains, teknik, pertanian, kesehatan, dan pendidikan.

Catatan Penting

• Penerima KIP Kuliah wajib mempertahankan IPK sesuai batas minimal yang ditentukan oleh kampus.
• Mahasiswa juga diwajibkan aktif dalam kegiatan perkuliahan dan tidak boleh terlibat pelanggaran akademik atau hukum.
• Bantuan dapat dihentikan jika mahasiswa tidak memenuhi ketentuan.
