Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) on September 9, 2024 at 13.30 WITA received a visit from the leadership of the Paris Barantai Kotabaru College of Teacher Training and Education (STKIP), namely the Chairperson, Husni Mubarak; Deputy Chairperson 1, Muhammad Ali; and Evi Novianti, Coordinator of Cooperation. Their arrival was welcomed by the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki, who was accompanied by the Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Management Unit (UPKH) of FKIP ULM, Emma Rosana Febriyanti; Secretary of UPKH Public Relations, Dewi Alfianti; Cooperation Coordinator of the ULM Cooperation and Public Relations Management Bureau (BPKH), Mayang Muhairinnisa; and staff from both UPKH FKIP and BPKH ULM. The group was received in the Utility Building Meeting Room.

The arrival of the STKIP Paris Barantai group was in the context of signing the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) document between the two parties after previously signing a Memo of Understanding (MoU) with the ULM Rector. According to Husni Mubarak, his party has carried out a number of collaborative implementations with the Mathematics Education Study Program (PS), so it is necessary to make PKS documents to become a legal umbrella for these implementation activities.

In his remarks, the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki said that FKIP ULM is always open to cooperation agreements that are beneficial to both parties. Especially with the plan to open ULM’s PSDKU (Study Program Outside the Main Campus) in Kotabaru, it is very important for both parties to always be connected in order to improve cooperation in the tridarma of Higher Education.
