The meeting, which was held in the Utility Building meeting room starting at 16.00 WITA, was attended by the Study Program Coordinator (Korprodi) or the representative of the Economics Education Study Program, History Education Study Program, Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Sociology Education Study Program, Geography Education Study Program, Social Science Education Study Program, Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, English Education Study Program, Performing Arts Education Study Program, Special Education Study Program, Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD), Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program (PG PAUD), and Counseling Guidance Study Program. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki and accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty.

For the accreditation of PS in FKIP, ULM has chosen The Accreditation Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN) as the certification agency. ACQUIN itself is a registered association with EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education). This institution is headquartered in Bayreuth – Germany. EQAR is an international accreditation, certification, and quality assurance institution recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia, as stated in the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 83/P/2020 Dated January 24, 2020.

In his introduction, Sunarno Basuki encouraged all selected PSs to follow international accreditation, which was responded positively with a statement of ability with the desire to try. Of the 13 PSs that are expected to follow international accreditation, 4 of them have undergone the preparation process since 2023. “The most important thing to note in this international accreditation is that the curriculum used must be OBE (Oucome Based Education). Thus we ask the PS to immediately prepare the curriculum properly. On February 27, next Tuesday, the faculty will hold another meeting with the PS in order to present the OBE curriculum by PS who already have good readiness for this curriculum,” he said.

According to Deasy, the PSs are committed to being able to send their accreditation forms by the end of 2024. “We hope that these 13 PSs are the beginning, which will be followed by the rest of the PSs in FKIP ULM. The clusters we will follow are social humanities, education science, and science technology. In the future, we want all PS in FETT ULM to have international accreditation,” he said. (admin)
