Banjarmasin – The Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI) Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for lecturers related to the alignment of documents and implementation of the Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum. The activity was carried out in two sessions, namely July 5-7 at Aria Barito Hotel and July 11 at Harper Hotel Banjarmasin. The activity was held at 09.00-17.00 WITA.

This activity was opened by the Coordinator of PS PBSI, Ahsani Taqwiem and attended by PS PBSI ULM lecturers. In his opening remarks, Taqwiem expressed his appreciation for this activity. According to him, this event is an important step in ensuring that the curriculum we apply is in accordance with the needs of the times and is able to produce graduates who are competent and ready to face the challenges of the world of work. “Constructive input from lecturers also provides new insights for the development and steps of PBSI to face various challenges in the future. Strengthening the implementation of OBE is expected to improve the quality of learning with a focus on clear and measurable learning outcomes. Hopefully this event will provide real benefits, especially for the entire academic community,” he said.

After this activity, the manager of PS PBSI hopes that the activity can help a more organized and complete documentation related to the outcomes of the courses that have been carried out including those that have a typical locality value of South Kalimantan. (admin)
