Banjarmasin – Students from 7 study programs (PS) within the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) began participating in Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) Teaching Assistance (AM) activities starting at the beginning of the odd semester 2024-2025 and ending at the end of the semester. MBKM Teaching Assistance is carried out in a number of schools both at the primary and secondary education levels in almost all city districts in South Kalimantan: Banjarmasin, Banjarbaru, Barito Kuala, Tapin, Hulu Sungai Selatan, Hulu Sungai Tengah, Hulu Sungai Utara, Balangan, Tabalong, Tanah Laut, Kotabaru, and Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.
For 2024, of the 21 PS in FKIP ULM, 14 PS have implemented the MBKM program which is the core of FKIP as an LPTK (Educational Personnel Educator Institution) last semester. While the other 7 PS implemented AM this semester. The PS are PS Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI), PS English Education, PS Physics Education, PS History Education, PS Economics Education, PS Physical Education, and PS Counseling Guidance. Overall, AM activities consist of debriefing that has been carried out in July and from August to December, students carry out practice in schools.
The Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) Unit held an online AM student release activity on Friday, August 2, 2024 through a zoom conference while student delivery to schools was carried out by the school coordinator lecturer starting Monday, August 5, 2024. Head of the MBKM Unit, Raisa Fadilla expressed her appreciation for the smooth running of the student drop-off process. According to her, the coordinating lecturers are given time on Monday and Tuesday to complete the drop-off process. She also hopes that the drop-off process will be carried out officially, and attended by both the coordinating lecturers themselves, AM students, school leaders, and also tutor teachers. (admin)
