FETT ULM Lecturers Again Certified Competent, Strengthen IKU 4

Nine lecturers in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) who come from a number of study programs (PS), namely Ananda Setiawan, Alfi Fadhilah Hakim, Baseran Nor from PS Economics Education; Dedy Ari Nugroho from PS Pancasila and Citizenship Education; Heri Susanto from PS History Education; Muhammad Najamudin from PS Performing Arts Education; Syubhan Annur from PS Natural Science Education; Saiyidah Mahtari from PS Physics Education, attended training and successfully achieved competency certification in the General Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Expert scheme.

The certification activity was held on June 27 to July 2, 2024 in Yogyakarta. All participants were declared competent in the certification test which was a collaboration between the ULM Professional Certification Institute (LSP) and PT Artha Safety Indonesia.

According to LSP ULM’s certification manager who is also a lecturer in Economics Education, Muhammad Rahmattullah, this certification was held to improve the competence of lecturers in the K3 field and in order to add the scope of the new K3 scheme for student certification in the future. “K3 has also become a mandatory requirement for all institutions, besides that, K3 technical certification is the beginning of the preparation of K3 assessors of the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) in the university environment. Also mainly, this certification is to improve the Main Performance Indicator (IKU) 4 of Higher Education in the field of lecturer competence and IKU 6 in the field of cooperation,” he said passionately.
