This event is a real contribution of PS-PBSI to help unravel the problems of our nation’s education. We hope similar activities can continue to be held in the future,” he said.

The three speakers delivered a number of materials, including, Djoko Saryono presented material on Language and Literature Learning for Literacy Strengthening; Jumadi delivered material on Critical Literacy-Based Language Learning; and Armiaty Rasyid talked about the New Direction of Regional Language Revitalization: Suppressing the Rate of Language Extinction in South Kalimantan Province. In his presentation, Djoko Saryono mentioned that the pillars of XXI century life skills include competence, namely the ability to solve complex problems, basic literacy, namely the ability to apply basic daily skills, and character quality, namely the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment. Thus, literacy becomes a necessity. (admin)
