Banjarmasin – Welcoming the 21st Anniversary as well as a vehicle to strengthen student motivation to serve in educational science, the Guidance and Counseling Study Program (PS) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held a National Seminar on Education with the theme “The Existence of the Role of Education in Welcoming the Golden Indonesian Generation 2045”.

This National Seminar was held at the General Building Lecture Theater on Friday, June 14, 2024 starting at 13.00 WITA by presenting the resource person Guru Gembul. This activity was opened with Radap Rahayu dance performance and Merpati Putih martial arts performance by BK students. The event was opened by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dharmono and attended by around 221 participants who were present on the spot, and 40 online participants from various regions consisting of lecturers, students, teachers and the general public. Also attending this activity were the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman and the Coordinator of the BK PS FKIP ULM, Eklys Cheseda Makaria.

In his speech, Dharmono likened the campus to a house where lecturers are parents, students as children, and alumni as older siblings. All three must be able to work together to achieve the goal of the house itself, namely the success of the residents, especially for parents, their children. Dharmono also advised participants to ‘drain the wallet of knowledge’ of the speakers so that each participant can benefit and learn from them.

The resource person, Jafar Rosadi or better known as Guru Gembul is an educational content creator. In his presentation, he conveyed educational motivation for participants and shared about it in the question and answer session. (admin)
