Banjarmasin – Study Program (PS) Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) invited the Cooperation and Public Relations Management Unit (UPKH) FKIP ULM to socialize the cooperation scheme between PS PPG and PPL partner schools to a number of school principals in the cities of Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru who are partners. The event was held at the Sky Convention Center starting at 9:00 a.m. WITA and was opened by the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki. The event was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty; Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dharmono; PS PPG Coordinator, Hidayah Ansori; UPKH Chair, Emma Rosana Febriyanti; sub-coordinators within FKIP ULM; the PPL partner school team and principals in Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru; and the FKIP ULM UPKH team. Following the opening remarks, several school principals were symbolically invited to sign the PPL PPG Cooperation Agreement document alongside the Dean and the Coordinator of the PPG Program.
In his speech, Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki, said that the addition of LPTK organizers of PPG in 2024 is a signal that more PPG participants can immediately be certified as professional teachers. According to him, FKIP ULM itself has so far graduated around 10,547 PPG students in positions from various regions, not only South Kalimantan. “Regarding cooperation, we, the leadership, hope that the PS PPG cooperation with schools can contribute to the KPI (Key Performance Indicators -ed), especially KPI 6 for FKIP ULM,” he said. In line with this, according to Hidayah Ansori, in collaborating with partner schools, her party hopes that partner schools can understand the PPL PPG management process, both administratively and financially, from preparation to the process of taking student videos. “With this collaboration, it is also hoped that communication between schools and PS managers will be maximized so that schools can differentiate between the weight of PPL credits and the weight of Teaching Assistance credits,” she explained.
During the presentation session, Emma Rosana Febriyanti, who is responsible for the implementation of cooperation within the FKIP ULM, said that in the cooperation scheme between PS PPG and partner schools, three supporting documents are required, namely a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Rector and the Municipal Governments of Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru, a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) document and an Implementation Arrangement (IA) document between the Dean and the Head of the Education Office, as well as a Cooperation Report document between the PS PPG Coordinator and the Head of the Partner School. “The MoU and PKS are already complete under the umbrella of tridharma cooperation, so the document that is still being pursued to ensure that the cooperation carried out has value, both in terms of IKU and program accreditation documents, is the Cooperation Report,” he said.
