Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held its second graduation ceremony for its graduates on Saturday, July 28. The second graduation ceremony of 2025 was held at the ULM General Building Lecture Theatre and opened by the Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs of FKIP ULM, Deasy Arisanty, and attended by the Deputy Dean of Finance and General Affairs, Dharmono; Deputy Dean of Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman; Head of General Affairs, Isnawati; the heads and secretaries of departments within FKIP ULM; the heads of service divisions; and 501 students who graduated in this graduation ceremony. During this ceremony, the three best graduates of FKIP ULM were announced, namely Fahimah from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department (JPBSI) with a GPA of 3.98 and a study period of 4 years as the first best graduate; Hidayani from the Elementary School Teacher Education Department (JPGSD) with a GPA of 3.97 and a study period of 4 years as the second best; and Ismi Khairun Nisa from JPGSD with a GPA of 3.96 and a study period of 43 years as the third best.

In her opening remarks, Deasy Arisanty expressed her appreciation and hopes for the graduates to develop further after leaving campus. Following the opening ceremony, which included the announcement of the best graduates from each faculty and department by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, the event continued with the reading of the graduation decree for the graduates by the Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dharmono. Afterwards, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman, read the alumni oath.

The graduates came from 18 departments at FKIP ULM, including 2 from the Biology Education Department, 1 from the Guidance and Counseling Department, 34 from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department, 21 from the English Language Education Department, 33 from the Geography Education Department, and 158 from the Elementary School Teacher Education Department (PGSD). The Natural Sciences Education Department graduated 40 students, the Social Sciences Education Department graduated 2 students, the Physical Education Department graduated 80 students, the Special Education Department graduated 6 students, the Chemistry Education Department graduated 11 students, the Pancasila and Civic Education Department (PPKn) graduated 6 students, the History Education Department graduated 10 students, the Performing Arts Education Department (PSP) graduated 18 students, the Sociology Education Department graduated 11 students, the Educational Technology Department graduated 13 students, and the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Department (PG PAUD) graduated 55 students.
