Banjarmasin – Students from the Chemistry Education Study Program (PS) and Mathematics Education Study Program (PS) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) won the 2025 ON MIPA (National Mathematics and Natural Sciences Olympiad) competition at the university level. The selection was held at the General Building Lecturer Theatre ULM on February 6, starting at 9:00 a.m. WITA. ON MIPA itself is one of the prestigious competitions in the field of mathematics and science at the university level organized by the Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI) through the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas).
FKIP ULM students who won this university-level competition included Nizar Ilyasa and Siti Rahmah from the Chemistry Education Study Program. Nizar ranked 1st in the ON MIPA competition in the field of chemistry, while Siti Rahmah ranked 4th. Meanwhile, in the field of mathematics, Nadia Mei Safitri ranked 2nd, and Risyda Julia ranked 4th. Both are from the Mathematics Education Study Program. The Field Supervisors (DPL) for these winners were Yogo Dwi Prasetyo and Zainul Arifin.
According to the coordinator of ON MIPA FKIP, Surya Haryandi, the winners will be trained and prepared to participate in regional-level selection, with the hope that they can advance to the national level.
