Banjarmasin/Anjir Pasar – The FKIP Teaching Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) on Saturday, 12/04, and Friday to Sunday, 18-20/04 again held an annual routine activity to increase the capacity of Human Resources (HR) members entitled Upgrading Skills for prospective FKIP Teaching UKM agents. This activity is divided into two sessions, namely indoor and outdoor.
The activity on Saturday, 12/04 which was an indoor session was held in rooms 23 and 24 of FKIP ULM from 08.00 to 16.00 WITA. The event was opened by the FETT Teaching UKM Supervisor, Dewi Alfianti and attended by all administrators and prospective members totaling around 115 people. In her opening remarks, Dewi expressed her appreciation for the committee’s cooperation so that the event could be carried out well. She also hopes that this activity can be really useful for prospective members in order to better understand UKM FKIP Mengajar as a student organization. Meanwhile, the chairman of the committee, Mulyanadi Syahputra, said that the committee welcomed the prospective agents and hoped that they could immediately join the Teaching FETT UKM family.
This indoor activity is filled with the delivery of material related to skills as a teacher. The material on the Four Teacher Competencies and Eight Teaching Skills was delivered by resource person Zain Ahmad Fauzi who is also a lecturer of the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program (PS) FKIP ULM, while other materials, Basic Teaching Techniques and Effective Classroom Management were delivered by a lecturer of Mathematics Education PS FKIP ULM, Martin Suhendra.
Meanwhile, the outdoor session was held on Friday-Sunday, 18-20/04 in Anjir Pasar Kota Village, Barito Kuala Regency. This activity contains a number of agendas including teaching practices at SDN Anjir Pasar Kota, meetings with alumni, environmental cleanup, and the inauguration of new members to become part of the FKIP Teaching UKM family.
