Banjarmasin – The Performing Arts Education Study Program (PSP) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) on Saturday, 19/04 held an “Art Learning Media Exhibition” which is an exhibition of the final product of the Art Learning Media Course (MK) taught by Putri Dyah Indriyani and Sherly Nur Hikmah. This activity was held jointly by students participating in the MK and the PSP Student Association (Hima) in Hasan Bondan Hall and Tumpang Lima Field FKIP ULM starting at 09.00 WITA.
The event was opened by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman who opened by cutting the ribbon, and was attended by the PSP Coordinator, Muhammad Budi Zakia Sani; lecturer in charge of MK, Sherly Nur Hikmah; as well as lecturers and students in the PSP environment. After the opening session, participants were invited to tour around to see the various booths provided. The booths displayed various forms of art learning media creations made by students.
According to the head of the organizing committee, Indri, the preparation for the activity was carried out for more than one month. The activity involved PSP students class 2023 who took the Art Learning Media course, the Student Association, as well as media partners and sponsors. “I hope that this kind of activity can become a routine agenda in order to increase student creativity and inspiration,” she said. Meanwhile, Sherly Nur Hikmah expressed her appreciation for the creativity and dedication of the students in producing the performing arts learning media works on display. “Each work shows the exploration of unique ideas, understanding of teaching materials, and the ability to translate learning concepts into interesting and educational forms. Some works even show extraordinary innovation in combining technological elements with traditional art values,” according to him, this exhibition is not only a place to show the final results, but also a space for reflection on the learning process that has been undertaken. “I hope this experience can strengthen students’ ability to design learning media that is contextual, inspiring, and applicable in the world of art education in the future,” he concluded.
