Banjarmasin – The Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), Sunarno Basuki, officially representing the Rector, inaugurated 21 heads of departments (kajur) S-1 and coordinators of the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Study Program at the Inauguration and Handover Ceremony for Department Heads and Secretaries at FKIP ULM. The inauguration ceremony was held in the Hasan Bondan Hall starting at 09:30 WITA. In order to adjust to the needs of ULM as a Public Service Agency (BLU), the Study Programs (PS) within FKIP ULM have been renamed as departments, while the previous departments have been abolished. Therefore, this ceremony was also held to dismiss the heads of departments that were abolished and a number of Study Program Coordinators (Korprodi) who stated that they would not continue their positions after the change from PS to departments.

This ceremony was attended by the Chair of the Senate, Wahyu; Vice Chair of the Senate, Fatchul Mu’in; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty; Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dharmono; Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman; Head of General Affairs, Isnawati; the heads of service areas: Dani Wahyudi, Ida Auliani, Indra Nur Adhitya, Rabiatul Adawiyah, and Dedy Rizani; the heads of faculty-level units, Ananda Setiawan, Emma Rosana Febriyanti, Raisa Fadilla, and Nuruddin Wiranda; the appointed department heads and secretaries, as well as invited guests consisting of the heads and secretaries of the abolished departments and the heads and secretaries of the study programs who have resigned from their positions.

Program coordinators who did not continue their positions at the PS level to become department heads included the Physics Education Program Coordinator, Abdul Salam; Head of Biology Education, Aminuddin Prahatama Putra; Head and Secretary of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Ahsani Taqwiem and Faradina; Head of Guidance and Counseling, Eklys Cheseda Makaria; Head of Early Childhood Education (PG PAUD), Sakerani; and Secretary of PG PAUD, Celia Cinantya. The heads and secretaries of the departments at FKIP ULM appointed for the 2025-2027 period based on the ULM Rector’s Decree (SK) include Noor Cahaya as Head of Department (Kajur) and Wenny Noorahim as Secretary of the Department (Sekjur) of Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI); Moh. Yamin as Head and Elsa Rosalina as Secretary of English Education; Muhammad Budi Zakia Sani as Head and Putri Dyah Indriyani as Secretary of Performing Arts Education (PSP); Mariatul Kiptiah as Head and Muhammad Elmy as Secretary of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn); Muhammad Rahmattullah as Head of Department and Ananda Setiawan as Secretary of the Department of Economics Education (Penko); Melisa Prawitasari as Head of Department and Sriwati as Secretary of History Education; Karunia Puji Hastuti and Parida Angriani as Secretaries of Geography Education; Rochgiyanti as Head of Department and Cucu Widaty as Secretary of Sociology Education; Mutiani as Head of Department and Jumriani as Secretary of Social Sciences Education (IPS).

Furthermore, Noor Fajriah was appointed as Head of Department and Juhairiah as Secretary of Mathematics Education; Kaspul as Head of Department and Mahrudin as Secretary of Biology Education; Rusmansyah as Head and Yogo Dwi Prasetyo as Deputy Head of Chemistry Education; Suyidno as Head and Dewi Dewantara as Deputy Head of Physics Education; Harja Santana Purba as Head and R. Ati Sukmawati as Deputy Head of Computer Education; Subhan Annur as Head and Yasmine Khairunnisa as Deputy Head of Natural Sciences Education (IPA). Noorhapizah as Head and Akhmad Riandy Agusta as Secretary of Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD); Celia Cinantya as Head and Chestry Anggraeni as Secretary of Early Childhood Education (PG PAUD); Agus Purnomo Andi Widodo as Head of Department and Mirnawati as Secretary of Special Education; Nina Permatasari as Head of Department and Eklys Cheseda Makaria as Secretary of Guidance and Counseling; Susanti Sufyadi as Head of Department and Qomario as Secretary of Educational Technology (Tekpen); Rahmadi as Head of Department and Arie Rakhman as Secretary of Physical Education.

On this occasion, there was also a handover ceremony and inauguration of the PPG Program Coordinator from the previous official, Iriani Bakti, to Hidayah Ansori. Hidayah will serve as PPG Program Coordinator until 2028.

According to one of the newly appointed department heads, Rahmattullah, the position of department head currently signifies an increase in responsibility. However, he also views this change as strategic because of the greater authority he has as a department head, making it easier to move forward in developing many aspects of the Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education). “I hope that administrative procedures such as correspondence can be adjusted immediately. The issue of accreditation also needs to be discussed in terms of how it will be implemented after this change,” he said.
