Optimizing Performance, PS PPG FKIP ULM Holds a Series of Activities

Banjarmasin – Ahead of the Competency Test for Participants in the 2025 Teacher Professional Education Program (UKPPPG) for Specific Teachers in 2025, the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Study Program (PS) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held a series of Off-Site Meetings (RLK), including Refresher Training for UKPPPG Examiners (Competency Test for Teacher Professional Education Participants) for Specific Teachers (Guter) in 2025, which was conducted online via Zoom conference, followed by Technical Guidance (Bimtek) for new UKPPPG examiners in 2025, held on Tuesday-Wednesday, July 15-16, 2025, at the Pyramid Hotel in Banjarmasin, starting at 8:00 a.m. WITA. In addition to preparing for the UKPPPG Guter, the PS PPG also conducted activities related to the formulation of the academic vision and objectives of the Teacher Professional Education Program at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FKIP) of the University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) for 2025 on Tuesday, July 15, at the Pyramid Hotel.

The participants of the refresher course were examiners who were lecturers at FKIP ULM who met the qualifications of having a minimum functional position of lecturer and already had an NRP (Examiner Registration Number), totaling 226 people. During this refresher course, participants received assistance from a team of facilitators, including Hidayah Ansori, Mohammad Dani Wahyudi, R. Ati Sukmawati, Ririanti Rachmayanie, Herita Warni, Noorhapizah, and Utomo. Meanwhile, for technical guidance, there were 11 participants who were facilitated by facilitators from all fields of study.

The RLK was opened by the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki, and attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty; Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman; PS PPG Coordinator, Hidayah Ansori; Head of General Affairs, Isnawati; heads of service departments; heads of faculty-level units; PS PPG administrators; and participants. In his speech, Sunarno expressed his appreciation for the successful implementation of the PPG in 2024, which has earned the trust to organize both the PPG for prospective teachers and specific teachers again in 2025. He also said that FKIP ULM as an LPTK (Educational Personnel Training Institution) has successfully graduated students with a percentage of over 95% for prospective teachers and specific teachers.

According to the PS PPG Coordinator, Hidayah Ansori, the refresher course for UKPPPG examiners is intended for examiners who already have an NRP for 2024 and are scheduled to examine participants in 2025. The refresher course focuses on in-depth education, values education, and counseling for non-guidance counseling (BK) teachers, which is integrated into the learning assessment instruments, learning practices (videos), case studies, interviews, as well as integrated into objective questions (UTBK). Refresher training is necessary for examiners to master the assessment instruments. In addition, technical guidance is provided for new examiners from the BK-SMP/SM field of study, which is conducted in a blended manner.

“To the examiners who conducted the assessment in 2024, we would like to express our gratitude for successfully graduating 98.5% of participants in the Specific Teacher PPG program. Nearly 100% of participants in the Prospective Teacher PPG program also graduated with examiners from other LPTKs randomly selected by the system,” he said. (Admin)
