Banjarmasin – The Department of Natural Sciences Education (JPIPA) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held a competency development activity in the field of education entitled Science Education Training on Saturday, September 27. This activity was held in the Hasan Bondan Hall starting at 9:00 a.m. WITA. The event was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty, and attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman; the Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Management Unit (UPKH), Emma Rosana Febriyanti; the JPIPA Department Coordinator, Syubhan Annur; lecturers and students from the JPIPA FKIP ULM; JPIPA alumni; and science teachers in Banjarmasin City.
The speakers for the event were Ubaidillah, Hafecs Training Coordinator, and Okta Bela Wati, a teacher at SMAN Banua South Kalimantan (Kalsel). This event discussed how to break down Learning Outcomes (CP) into Learning Objectives (TP) and ATP (Learning Objective Flow), the practice of creating innovative teaching modules, tips and tricks for creating digital learning media, and the practice of digital learning products (interactive media, videos, educational games). According to the committee chairperson, Ratna Yulinda, this event was held as an effort to develop the capacity of prospective science teachers and science teachers in designing innovative, creative, and contextual science learning, so that they are able to respond to the challenges of 21st-century education.
During this event, a Cooperation Agreement and Implementation of Arrangement (IA) document was also signed between FKIP ULM and the Banjarmasin City Science Teachers’ Working Group (MGMP IPA), represented by the Chair of MGMP IPA Kota Banjarmasin, Yuli Sutiono. (Admin)
