The event took place at the General Lecture Building of ULM starting at 8:00 AM WITA and was attended by 428 graduates. The event was opened by the Dean of FKIP ULM and attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty; Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dharmono; Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman; PS PPG Coordinator, Hidayah Ansori; PS PPG study coordinators; and graduates. In addition to the inauguration of the graduates, the event also featured the recitation of the professional oath by the graduates, led by Sunarno Basuki.

In his opening remarks, Sunarno Basuki said that the journey to becoming a PPG graduate was not an easy one, and he expressed his appreciation to the graduates who had finally obtained their professional teaching qualifications. He hoped that the graduates would continue to uphold the good name of FKIP ULM. Meanwhile, Hidayah Ansori, in her remarks, highlighted the importance of teachers being adaptive. After working with professional teacher qualifications, there will be more challenges to face.

Istiqamah, one of the PPG graduates from the Indonesian Language study program, expressed her gratitude for being able to undergo teacher professional education. “The more I learn, the more I realize that there are many things I don’t know yet. After participating in the PPG, I realized that when we successfully design learning based on the characteristics of the students, the learning process feels much more meaningful. In addition, what I feel when I am able to understand the characteristics of the students is that I become less judgmental of them,” she said.

Congratulations to the graduates. We wish you success in the next stage of your lives. (Admin)
