Optimizing Student Participation, FKIP ULM Student Affairs and Alumni Hold Technical Briefing for PKM 2026

Banjarmasin – The Student Affairs and Alumni Division of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held a technical briefing on the Student Creativity Program (PKM) for 2026 on Thursday, January 15. The event took place at the Hasan Bondan Hall of FKIP ULM starting at 2:00 PM WITA and was opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ali Rachman. The event was attended by the PKM ULM PIC (Person in Charge) team, the PKM FKIP ULM PIC team, faculty advisors, and students.

In his opening remarks, Ali motivated students to participate in PKM activities, not only to strengthen their academic quality but also to gain a number of benefits, including the possibility of passing the funding selection process or reaching PIMNAS (National Student Scientific Week), where they could be proposed to graduate without a thesis if the legal framework was officially in place.

In the presentation by the speakers from PIC PKM ULM, a number of important points were conveyed, including the division of PKM into two types, namely PKM Funding, which includes PKM Exact Research (science), PK Humanities Research, PKM Application of Science and Technology, Community Service PKM, Innovative Work PKM, Creative Work PKM, Entrepreneurship PKM, and Creative Video PKM. The other type is Incentive PKM, which includes Futuristic Ideas PKM and Scientific Articles PKM.

The schedule for PKM submissions, internal selection from proposal upload to announcement, runs from January 15 to March 2026. Proposals that have passed the internal selection will be uploaded to Simbelmawa in May 2026, and PIMNAS is scheduled to take place in October 2026. (Admin)
