Banjarmasin – The Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), in collaboration with the ULM Professional Certification Institute (LSP) and the International Test Centre (ITC), held two sessions of Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) training and certification from July 21 to August 5. A total of 43 participants from the Department of Economics Education, including 2 lecturers and 1 educational staff member, as well as 1 lecturer from the Department of Natural Sciences Education (IPA), took part in the MCE training and certification. All participants passed and are now entitled to hold internationally recognized MCE certificates. The training and certification were conducted at the Economics Education Laboratory of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) ULM starting at 8:00 AM WITA.
According to the Head of the Economics Education Department, Muhammad Rahmattullah, this certification also enables the Economics Education Department to meet Key Performance Indicators (IKU) 2 and IKU 4. “Alhamdulillah, everyone passed. I hope that the competencies they have acquired will be useful in supporting the performance of the participants in the future,” he said.
Participants, both lecturers and students, showed enthusiasm in participating in this activity. Edi Suryanto, a lecturer from the Department of Economics Education, stated that he was happy to be able to participate in this activity. “From this training, I feel that it is beneficial for improving technological competence, designing more interactive learning, and developing 21st-century skills that are relevant to current educational needs. “Best wishes for the success of the MCE training and certification program organized by the Department of Economics Education,” he added.
A similar sentiment was expressed by student participant Nazwa Safrina Zahra. According to her, the MCE training and certification was a very memorable and beneficial experience for her. “Through this program, I gained a deeper understanding of 21st century learning and how to effectively integrate technology into the educational process. I am very grateful to have graduated with a very satisfactory grade. Thank you to all the organizers for the exceptional facilitation and guidance. I hope this activity will continue and have a positive impact on education in Indonesia,” she said. (Admin)
