Banjarmasin – Students majoring in Educational Technology (Tekpen) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) won a national competition in Information Technology-Based Learning Media Design in conjunction with the 64th anniversary of Makassar State University (UNM). On August 17, two teams of students from the Educational Technology Department won the educational technology innovation competition category under the name Sentra Naya as the second place winner and the digital educational video innovation competition category under the name Blumpion Creative as the second place winner. The Sentra Naya team, mentored by Sulistyo Rini, consists of Annida Zulfa, Alya Shahana, and Muhammad Raihan Noor. Meanwhile, the Blumpion Creative team, mentored by Qomario, consists of Mahdalena Aulia, Arif Rahman, Fatma Riski, Naila Hanun, and Nadia Irsalina Lahizha.

According to one of the winning students, Mahdalena, the experience gained from participating in the competition was truly extraordinary and brought her and her teammates closer together. “Hopefully, this achievement can motivate us to continue working hard, bring pride to Lambung Mangkurat University, especially the Department of Educational Technology, and inspire other students to dare to try and achieve. Alhamdulillah, I was given the opportunity to learn, go through the process, and ultimately achieve a result that I am proud of,” she said.

In line with Mahdalena, Qomario, one of the supervising lecturers, expressed his pride in this achievement. “With great pride and gratitude, as a supervising lecturer, representing all lecturers in the educational technology department, I would like to express my appreciation for this achievement as the 2nd place winner in the Digital Education Video Innovation competition in commemoration of the 64th anniversary of UNM. This victory is not only a personal source of pride for the Blumpion Creative team but has also brought honor to the Department of Educational Technology at FKIP ULM. May this achievement serve as a catalyst to inspire all students to continue learning, creating, and never cease to innovate in the field of educational technology,” he said.
