Banjarmasin – The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Unit of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held a Department Website Management Training on Friday–Saturday, October 10–11. This activity, which is part of the faculty’s efforts to improve the quality of department website management to make it more informative, secure, and attractive, took place in the Old Meeting Room of FKIP ULM from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. WITA.
This event featured speakers Rega Gumilang, Software Development Expert; Nur Muhammad Huda Ridwan, Information Technology and IT Security Practitioner; and Nuruddin Wiranda, Head of the ICT Unit. These speakers presented material on effective and innovative website design, content management, the use of WordPress plugins, and best practices in website security.
This training was attended by website operators from various departments and units within the FKIP. “Today’s departmental web management workshop was very useful and inspiring. Participants showed great enthusiasm in attending each session, strengthening their spirit of learning and innovation,” said ICT chair Nuruddin Wiranda. He also expressed his appreciation to the faculty leadership for their tremendous support and attention in organizing this event.
“The participation and attention of the leadership is very meaningful to us, and is the main motivation for organizing this activity smoothly and successfully,” he added. Through this activity, it is hoped that every department and unit at FKIP ULM can implement the training results to improve the quality and competitiveness of websites within the faculty. (Admin)
